Nazareth House abuse victim was tied naked to railings during physical and sexual abuse inflicted by nuns.

An abuse victim has told how he suffered years of hell at a scandal-hit kids’ home run by nuns.

Paul Dallas, 45, claims he was beaten by the brutal sisters every day from the age of five. And he revealed he was tied naked to railings during the physical and sexual abuse at Nazareth House in Lasswade, Midlothian.

Waiving his right to anonymity, Paul, of Govanhill, Glasgow, said: “I’ve never recovered.

“You were in constant fear. You’d hear kids screaming and wonder, ‘Who will get beaten next?’.

Paul spoke out after it emerged cops are probing allegations about the Catholic order.

It has been repeatedly criticised in the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry.

He added: “I want justice. People have a right to know about what happened there.”
